Kim Victoria Cattrall, born August 21, 1956 in London, is the daughter of a British and Canadian actress from Canada and the UK. Her most well-known role was as Samantha Jones on the HBO show Sex and the City. She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for 2002 for Best Female Supporting actor. The character was reprised for two of the Sex and the City films (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2009). Also, she is known for her leading roles in the 1980s films Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's.
